This craft is amazing! My granddaughter is 11 and a fashionista, so this really appealed to her. She designed 3 dresses when she spent the night this weekend. She loved it! She’ll be able to create many more dresses from this kit. She especially loved the necklaces, which added style to her dresses. I liked that she was able to do it all by herself, without adult supervision.

My 8 year old daughter finds this fashion kit very enjoyable and exciting. It comes with 3 different mannequins and so many different fabric designs. My daughter played with this toy for 3 hours straight before coming to me to play! That is a record! 5 stars! You should totally get this.
I bought this for my 4.5 and 5.75 year olds because they’re always making makeshift clothes for their Barbie’s out of whatever they can find. They’re able to do it with my help, and they absolutely love it! We have not tried using the needle and thread yet, but I’ve been putting the double sided tape on the cloth to hold the pieces together, and that way you can tailor them a bit to different dolls (Barbie vs Skipper etc) after taking them off the mannequin. The clothing patterns help a lot - I just bought some sharp craft scissors to make cutting the fabric easier. Love this product, just wish there weren’t quite so many small pieces of glittery things to attach to the cloth - my kids love them though! The photos are what my 5.75 year old made.

The concept of designing clothes styles was very intriguing. Thought we could make clothes for the barbies but it is set up to just stay on the model body that it comes with.
My 11 year old granddaughter played with this all day long creating every variation of dresses she could think of. Great variation and number of pieces to work with. Definitely worth money spent.

My nieces (ages 7 and 8) absolutely loved this gift! Has everything needed for hours of creative fun, and I love how the dresses came out. They did find some aspects challenging like cutting certain fabrics and pushing them into the mannequin, so adult help was needed. Great if you’re there to help, if getting this as a solo gift an older age like 9 or 10 would probably be better.
My sister loved this fashion designer kit! It is fun for her to make clothes for her Barbie’s and get to add little charms on the clothing she makes! I definitely recommend!
Great kit. My daughter loved it, she's 8. The kit has many pieces of fabric and accessories. The mannequins make it look very "professional". She even made a runway out of boxes for them. Very easy to use, and promotes creativity.
Bought for my 9 year old granddaughters. One of the 3 mannequins does not stay snapped together . The fabrics and accessories are plentiful and pretty. Unfortunately, the girls lost interest because they thought it was too hard, but I’m hoping that they will try again because it’s such a nice kit.
I love that there is an option for kids to display their creativity without using technology with this set. The child I purchased this for loves a fashion game online where you compete with others to pick the best outfit. However, we played with this set for hours together! There were lots of fabric patterns and accessories. The only thing we didn’t like was the little push pins to put the outfits together were hard for the 8 year old child to maneuver. We ended up using fabric glue to secure our designs instead.
This kit comes with a lot of materials, accessories, etc. it’s fun to design the clothes on the mannequins. However, it’s a little disappointing when you want to turn the designs into wearable outfits. There is Velcro that can be used to make them into real doll clothes, but the tops don’t seem to fit the dolls quite right. It does come with thread so I suppose if you’re good at sewing you could make them fit the dolls better.
My child had a great time designing outfits, using the variety of pieces, and trying them on the mannequins. It kept her engaged for quiet a while day 1 and encouraged thinking and fine motor skills.The only reason I’m giving four stars is that some of the smaller pieces are a bit tricky to handle and can get lost easily as they just come in a plastic bag which when opened, is useless so they float around the box freely. Otherwise, it’s a great value for hours of imaginative play and makes a wonderful birthday gift.
