So much to do all in one toy perfect to stay busy

All the little animals are so cute and are color coordinated to what box they go in. She’s learning numbers and colors. She’ll just take the tops off and on over and over again. It’s helping her understand building patterns. Definitely recommend

This toy has been very useful for my work with children. The kids really enjoy playing with it, and it helps make learning numbers, colors, and matching more fun and engaging. They have loved it so much, and it keeps them interested during our activities. I definitely recommend it for anyone who works with young children

Love it

Such a fun and educational toy! My little one loves playing with all the colorful pieces, and there are so many different ways to use them. It’s great for practicing counting, matching, colors, shapes, and fine motor skills while still feeling like playtime. The pieces are cute, sturdy, and keep my child entertained for a long time. Great quality and perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!

Gift

Purchased as a gift. Parents were surprised at how well it's held up despite all the "derailments" into duplo block villages.

Brittle Plastic Connectors -- Will They Break?

RE: Counting, Matching & Sorting Montessori Farm TrainSo overall I wasn't impressed with the quality of the materials. The wee animals have a somewhat soft-touch silicone feel which is good -- it's what you want. But the train pieces are a hard brittle plastic which I'm not crazy about. The plastic has no give so rather than shove the connecting train pieces together and risk snapping off the connectors, I simply laid the open u-hook on top of the peg which isn't ideal but with the weight of the wee houses on top, the train cars stayed connected -- but only just.A small child couldn't put this together; an older child or adult would have to assist. The wee houses have circular indentations on the bottom that are supposed to align with slightly raised pegs on the cars. Once I managed to get them aligned, I had to press firmly to get them to stay. Getting them off again was a bit of a challenge -- I was afraid I would crack or snap the pegs off. Here are a few Design Improvements I'd make:1. The animals are not a consistent size. A few fit nicely into the houses while a few others have to be turned on their side and forced in diagonally. They're plenty big for a baby or toddler's fingers. I'd suggest scaling them down slightly so they all fit into their respective houses the same way.2. Make the rooftops flat so the animals can actually sit on top as pictured. Because as it is, with the ridgecrest, there's not enough space and there's too much of a slant for the animals to stay put on the roof. I thought that maybe the small peg on one corner of the roof was there to hold the animal on but it's too far toward the edge to be useful.3. I'd make the car connectors of the same silicone like material that the animals are made from. That way, the connectors would have some give -- you could push them together and pull them apart without fear that they'll snap and break in the process.4. Finally, I'd suggest handling every connection with a light magnet. That way, you'd have a seamless connection that even a 1-3 year old could manage -- avoid the hook and peg connectors altogether. Light magnets to connect the train cars and light magnets to hold down the houses and I think you'd have a more satisfied child -- and parent! 😊

Lots of pieces

A cute toy that holds their attention for maybe 5 minutes. Lots of pieces. Maybe a bit overwhelming?

Learning about farm animals through play.

My 11 month old granddaughter loves playing with this train filled with farm animals. She’s learning so much such as the types of animals and the sounds they make. Color coding teaches colors as well. Highly recommend.

Colorful and many options of play with it.

I got this for our 11 month old grandson. I felt it was very cute, colorful and versitle. I think it will hold up for a long time and he will be able to play with it for a few years at least before he may become bored with it. The finger puppet part is also cute and can go with stories my daughter reads to him.

Great toy

My autistic toddler LOVES this train set between being able to move it around and take and put back all the animals he’s obsessed. He’s been able to match the animals with their color barns and place the correct color lid on top. Lids can sometimes be a bit tricky to get on but that’s really the only thing I have negative to say if I had to be picky.

Fun toy for tot

I never knew a kid with a train with animals and cars so much. I will say it is difficult sometimes for the containers to stay on the train. The drivers box does not want to stay. The kid cannot click the toy together. But he has fun with the finger puppets.

Great Educational Toy for Speech & Color Learning

These toys have honestly been a great addition for my kids. I love that they’re fun while also helping with learning and speech development. We use them to practice colors, counting, animals, and simple words during playtime. My son enjoys building and connecting the pieces while my daughter loves carrying around the little animal figures. The colors are bright and engaging without the toys being loud or overstimulating, which I really appreciate as a parent. They’ve definitely kept my kids entertained longer than I expected. The only reason for 4 stars is that there are multiple shades of the same color. For teaching a toddler, I wish there was just one consistent blue or one yellow to make color learning a bit clearer. But overall, they’re still a great educational set!”
