My husband and son love this truck! Perfect birthday gift! It has really nice shocks so it was able to go over all sorts of bumps. It was fast and they were really good at using it. I say it was because I couldn’t figure out how to charge it with the charger they gave us. It’s one of the weird ones that you have to like hook up to the controller. I have misplaced it because it’s just a small thin cord. But my son still likes to play with it.

Very fun, very fast car - a perfect gift for my son's 9th birthday. It's pretty easy to drive, but the single wheel remote did take my son some time to get the hang of. The car was flipping, going through puddles, and banging into walls and kept going without any issues. Seems like a quality product that will hold up to the rigors of off road driving. Good value if you're looking for an RC racer for your kid.One negative is that it only comes with 1 battery, so after about 20 minutes of fast driving, you're going to be waiting a while to recharge before you can take it our again. 2 batteries would have been perfect so one can recharge while the other is in use.

First off, my kid loves it. He’s been playing with it all day and is having a ton of funIt goes fast, not too hard to steer, and he’s been driving it over books and other toys he’s left out.I’m not as impressed. It feels cheaply made, with the shell looking good from a distance, it is a thin covering over the rest of the car.For charging you have to unscrew the compartment, and would be a lot better if you could just plug it in.My biggest complaint is backing up, sometimes it doesn’t. In my video I don’t know if you can tell, but it doesn’t always reverse when using the trigger.Again, it feels cheap, but my 4 year old has enjoyed it more than almost any other toy he’s got this year, so we’ll see how long it lasts.
Howdy, partners. Now, I’ve broken some wild stallions in my day, but I ain't never seen a mechanical beast tear up the prairie dust quite like this 1:16 4WD RC Monster Truck. I picked up this red devil for my nephew (though truth be told, I've spent more time in the driver's seat than he has), and it is a certified hoot.If you're looking to bring some high-octane excitement to your homestead, here’s my official trail report:Why This Red Rig Outruns the Herd• Three Gaits for Any Trail: With the push of a button, you can switch between Road, Grass, and Snow modes. Whether you're racing down the gravel driveway or tearing up the pasture, this truck adapts faster than a coyote on the run.• Four-Wheel Drive Power: This ain't no flimsy toy that gets stuck on a stray pebble. That 4WD traction grips the earth and sends this rig flying up to 20+ mph. It’ll kick up a roostertail of dirt that’ll make your jaw drop!• Tougher Than Boot Leather: Now, a greenhorn driver is bound to wreck. But this truck is built with a crash-resistant body and heavy-duty bumpers. It’s taken a few tumbles down the rocky ridge and came out without a single broken bone.• Roam Farther: With a FCC-certified range of up to 160 feet, you can stand on the front porch and send this wild pony way out into the pasture without losing your steering connection.Beginner-Friendly, Pro LookIt don't look like some cheap, hollow plastic toy. It’s got that premium, hobby-level pickup styling that makes you feel like a pro racer. Plus, the controls are smoother than a well-oiled saddle, making it easy for young bucks and old outlaws alike to steer without constantly spinning out or rolling over. You get a solid 20+ minutes of hard-riding battery life per charge, meaning less time hitched to the charging outlet and more time kicking up dust.If you want a gift that’ll make any youngster (or young-at-heart) holler with glee, lasso one of these red rigs today. Five stars and a tip of my hat!

We had a lot of fun with this Vroomix RC car right out of the box. After the initial charge, it was ready to go and definitely delivered on speed—it’s quick, responsive, and even handles grass better than expected, which was a nice surprise. The 3 driving modes are a great feature and the headlights you can control from the remote add a fun touch. That said, there are a few downsides. Battery life is on the shorter side—about 15 minutes if you're going full throttle the whole time. I haven’t timed how long it takes to recharge yet, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning longer play sessions.Durability is another concern. While it handled a few bumps and drops from the kids without immediately breaking, the body feels pretty thin—almost paper-like, likely to keep it lightweight. After just a couple of uses, one tire and axle are already showing a slight bend, which doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence long-term.The remote works fine, but the steering wheel has a cheaper feel, especially the foam-like material, which could wear down over time.Overall, it’s a fun and fast RC car that we’ve enjoyed using, but the battery life and durability issues hold it back a bit. I’m giving it 4 stars for now.
The truck has several features of higher priced machines from the removable body to the independent suspension system and AWD. The truck is responsive and easy to control and the proportional throttle allows full control over the speed. Turn in is sharp but I had a hard time trying to drift it on my tile floor as the tires have such a good grip. The suspension has a lot of movement so it absorbs bumps and small obstacles with ease. There is a lever under the truck to adjust the alignment so the truck drives straight, a nice touch. I still need to get it out on dirt to see what it will do. The battery compartment is large and the included battery gives it a long run time! The battery being under the truck means that you have to remove a screw from the battery door every time you need to charge the battery, I'm worried about the threads stripping out, but there are also 2 door lock that secure it in place. The controller requires 4 AAA batteries which aren't included. The truck is a blast to drive and a great price for the performance it has. It came very well packaged to prevent shipping damage. I do have an issue with the truck. My controller has an issue with reverse, the first time trying to back up the truck won't go, I have to release the throttle and try again (normally only once). I'll end up disassembling the controller to see if there is a loose component or an adjustment I can make, maybe the potentiometer is faulty. I suspect it is a defect with my unit. The build quality looks very good.
This truck is surprisingly quick and handles grass, pavement, and rougher surfaces better than I expected. The 4WD setup and suspension help keep it stable, while the three speed modes make it easier to slow things down for a younger driver. I also like the working LED lights and long remote range because they make it more fun to use outside. Battery life is decent and having rechargeable power is much better than constantly replacing batteries in the truck itself. The body feels durable enough for normal crashes and bumps, though it is still a lightweight RC toy. It is a great monster truck that looks great if you can catch it at a good price.
This Remote Control Monster Truck 1:16 4WD Offroad Gift for Boys 8-12 is an absolute beast for the price.4WD actually means 4WD here it climbs grass, dirt, gravel, and took a full-speed launch off my curb and kept going. Controller has great range, battery lasts way longer than I expected, and it's tough enough to survive crashes, flips, and my nephew's driving. If you're looking for a gift that will get kids (and adults) outside and off the tablets, this one's a hit!Pros: Super fast, true off-road tires, durable body, easy to control, great battery life, fun, large truck,Cons: None

Ordered for my son. He loves RC cars and this comes with everything that you need.It looks really cool and comes in a nice big box to cater to the gift esthetic. Good looking gift.Truck is very quick! Not the most responsive remote, however. I feel like with the price, the remote can have more responsive technology.Battery life is good. The look of the truck is great and the little LED Head light it has can be turned off and on. Really nice feature.Overall I like this truck a lot and I know my son will too. Just wish the remote was a bit better.
My son absolutely loves this monster truck! It’s super fun to play with and handles really well on different surfaces. The lights make it even cooler, especially when he’s driving it around in the evening. It is a bit fast though, so it took him some practice to get used to controlling it without crashing into everything . Once he got the hang of it, he had a blast racing it around.Overall, it’s a really fun RC truck and definately a great gift for kids who love off-road vehicles. Size is perfect to have something with power but also have something a kid can actually carry without too much trouble. Well worth it
I got 2 of these, they're very fast, very fun. Range isn't very far, and one of them randomly disconnects from the remote. I opened the remote and aligned the antenna wire to come out of the little slot, but doesn't seem to make a difference. Still a fun toy, not quite hobby grade but better than other stuff in this price range.
Really durable, fast for both kids and adults
This is a fun and sturdy remote control vehicle. It was easy to begin using, it travels well over many types of terrains and the control has a long distance use. I think it is a great toy for older children and adults! Fun to play with and has endured many adventures. Hope this helps.
I got this to give my sons something to do outside when it’s too hot to be practicing their sports and they’ve already shriveled up in the pool. This did not disappoint. It is easy enough to drive for my 4 year old and sturdy enough to handle him. While it is fast enough to satisfy my older boys. It has different settings for the different terrain you may use it on. They raise it on the concrete or tear it up in the grass, sand, dirt, rocks, and pine straw in the backyard. Maneuverability is great for going through and around obstacles. The remote control is easy to use. The battery holds a decent charge. Considering the price point this is at it way exceeds expectations.
This has been a great remote control car. Right out of the box it felt like it was high quality and well designed. The tsuspension system seemed responsive and bouncy, and the whole car felt light-weight yet sturdy. It also looks well built and look slike a cool truck. Setting it up was simple: just plug in the rechargeable battery to the underside of the truck, and pop in 4 AAA batteries into the remote. We turned them on and they connected automatically right away.Driving the truck is simple: You pull the trigger to drive forward, pull the trigger backwards to drive backwards, and turn the wheel to turn right or left. There are four other buttons on the remote: 3 of them configure different speeds and the fourth turns the headlights on and off. This thing feels fast! It's advertised as 20mph, and that seems about right. Being such a little toy it really zips around when on cement or asphault. This thing has some powre in it too, because when I drive it in our lawn it's still able to drive just fine. Even stopping on the lawn and then starting again it can handle it great. We've crashed it a few times and it has held up. While I do think this thing is pretty tough, it's far from indestructible, and I would avoide crashes as much as possible. My one complaint is that I wish that the wheel would GRADUALLY turn the wheels as you rotated the turning control. Instead, it seems to only have three hard positions: straight, right, and left. There's no gradual rotation to the right or left.Overall, a VERY fun remote control car! If you're looking gift an RC car or get a decent one for yourself, skip the super cheap $15-25 ones, we've had those before and they don't last or work great. This one seems like a great balance of budget and quality. I've had tons of fun with it as an adult, as have my 6 and 10 year old boys.
We absolutely love this RC truck! We already have several remote control cars, but this is our first truck, and it’s been a really fun addition. The larger, rugged tires make a huge difference compared to our race-style RC cars, which are really only meant for smooth pavement. This truck handles grass and dirt with no problem, and I was impressed with how well it tackled uneven terrain. We even drove it over small tree roots, and with a little extra throttle, it powered right over them. It’s definitely built for more adventurous driving, and that’s made it a lot more fun to use.One feature I’m especially excited about is the snow mode. We haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but it’ll be interesting to see how it performs once winter comes around. Based on how well it’s handled everything else so far, I have high hopes. My only minor complaint is that the remote still uses AAA batteries. It would’ve been nice if it were rechargeable like the truck itself, but that’s a very small downside considering how well everything else performs.Overall, we’re extremely happy with this RC truck. It’s durable, capable, and a blast to drive. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an RC vehicle that can handle more than just pavement!
Ok first off this thing is cool as can be. Wished it lasted longer but hey what can you expect for as fast as this thing can move hahaha. The quality is exceptional and it is very durable my son keeps coming in and telling me how many flips he made it do barrel rolling across our backyard. It actually a pretty good sized rc car i was honestly expecting it to be some small 5 inch car max and its actually quite large compared to my original thoughts. The battery probably would last a bit longer if he used a slower speed setting instead of the highest but what fun would that be i guess. I am going to need to find replacement batteries so he can continue his fun when the battery is drained. I would also like to add it has the ability to interchange the cars body which is way cool. Now to find car bodies for it and batteries because he absolutely loves it. He has even named it Darreled not sure where that came from but I will let that one be i guess .
This Vroomix 1:16 4WD Hugh Speed RC car is pretty cool. It definitely has speed mostly due to how lightweight it is which in my opinion causes it to be not as durable. The controls work great in this and are very quick and reactive. I love the headlights feature too, that’s a new and fun feature makes it look cool especially at nighttime My biggest issue is the battery life and that there isn’t a spare battery to extend the playtime. You get around 15-20 minutes of drive time with this and then it needs to be recharged which takes around two (ish) hours to recharge. A second battery would be ideal as to not interrupt driving time/playtime for kids. With this being more lightweight and not as durable I would definitely recommend this for older kids as I do not know how well it would hold up for younger kids. Overall this is a great RC at a good price point for the higher quality (minus the areas they sacrificed for the speed) It handles beautifully in different terrains and is an excellent gift idea.
