A Sensory Activity That Kept Three Kids Entertained for Over an Hour 🙌

I know there are quite a few negative reviews for this sensory slime kit, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my seven-, five-, and three-year-old children absolutely loved it! All three of them were excited to play with it, and it kept them entertained for well over an hour, which is a huge win in my book.I really like that this is essentially two activities in one. They could play with the slime by stretching, squeezing, pinching, and mixing it, and then switch to the sensory bin and create their own little ocean world with the shells, starfish, sea creatures, sand, and other accessories. Having multiple ways to play kept it from feeling repetitive, especially with three kids at different ages. The slime is also designed to be non-sticky, which made the experience much more enjoyable for my kids. They could handle and manipulate it without it constantly clinging to their hands. The scooping, digging, squeezing, and placing all the little pieces also gave them plenty to do with their hands while they played.I especially appreciated that the storage container doubles as the actual sensory bin and play area. Everything can be packed back into the container when they’re finished, which makes cleanup and storage much easier than having a bunch of separate sensory-play pieces scattered around. For us, this was a really successful sensory activity. My kids genuinely had fun with it, and keeping three children ages seven, five, and three occupied and engaged for more than an hour is impressive. If you’re considering it based solely on some of the more negative reviews, our experience was definitely a positive one.

Self contained slime kit

I have a grandson who loves anything to do with the ocean, who also loves slime, so this should be well received at Christmas. While I don’t generally get slime for any of my grandkids, I liked the setup of this. This comes in its own plastic snap lock storage container that’s they call a “sensory bin”. All play takes place completely in the bin, which is what I liked. The bin is very durable, the size is larger than I thought it would be, and from what I can tell everything is included that’s needed. The kids are only allowed to play with slime on the back porch or the garage, so there shouldn’t be any mishaps hopefully…lol. It really does look to be a fun little kit, and I think the asking price is fair for what you receive.

🌊 Perfect For The Birthday Party Stash

I ordered this to add to my birthday party gift stash because we have so many kids’ parties coming up and I like having gifts ready to go. The problem is my daughter saw it and immediately wanted me to open it for her. She is currently NOT happy that I’m saving it for a birthday party lol.I can see why she wants it though. It has slime, sand, little sea animals, shells, beads and other pieces for kids to build their own little ocean world. I also really like that the container it comes in doubles as the sensory bin, so everything has somewhere to go instead of needing another container.Definitely seems like one of those gifts a kid will be genuinely excited to open. Based on my daughter’s reaction alone, I’m feeling pretty confident about keeping this one in the birthday party rotation!

Don't buy

Wouldn't recommend. Slimes don't mix well together. The advertising picture shows the container having way more slime then what is actually included. The reusable container arrived cracked.

Unknown Ingredients and some hard to use

I wanted to love this sensory bin kit because the aesthetic presentation is genuinely adorable, and my six-year-old has been enjoying parts of it. That said, as a parent looking closely at what I'm bringing into the house, I have several major reservations about the overall quality and user experience. My biggest concern is the complete lack of transparency regarding the components. The packaging doesn't list the ingredients anywhere, leaving you with nothing but alarming warnings plastered everywhere about how it is strictly not edible. Without an ingredient disclosure, there is zero reassurance regarding toxicity, which is deeply unsettling when a child is handling the materials directly with their hands. The manufacturing quality and consistency of the textures also leave a lot to be desired. The slime components vary wildly in quality, particularly the specific variety meant to be mixed into the sand. It is aggressively tough and nearly impossible to work with; after spending a frustrating five minutes trying to knead it together for my son, I simply gave up out of sheer exhaustion and dumped the sand on top instead. Furthermore, while the concept of free play is great, the lack of clear directions is sloppy. The instructions completely omit what to do with the crystal slime, leaving you guessing whether it is supposed to integrate into the ocean scene or serve another purpose entirely, whereas the other elements are adequately explained. While the vibrant colors are fun and the kit has momentary appeal, the poor textural quality, confusing instructions, and mysterious, unlisted ingredients make this a disappointing buy overall.I dont know that the value is there for the item. It seems a little pricey for what you get.

Surprisingly fun for ALL ages!

This item arrived just a day or so after ordering, and was well packaged for shipping. This ocean-themed slime and sensory bin set is a great introduction to slime for younger children. The slime is soft, stretchy and much less sticky than traditional slime, so it doesn’t cling to little hands or create as much of a mess. It also has very little odor, which is something parents will appreciate. This set combines slime play with a complete sensory-bin activity. Children can stretch, squeeze and mix the slime, then use the shells, starfish, ocean creatures, sand, glitter and foam beads to create their own underwater world.I especially like that the handled storage case is also the play bin. Everything stays contained in one place while the child is playing, and all of the pieces can be packed back inside when playtime is over, making cleanup easier. We got this set for our 4 year old grandson, but found we enjoyed it as much as he did.The price is great. You get a lot for under $20 (2026 price).

JOVA Klever Kit Slime Sensory Bin with Ocean Theme

The JOVA Klever Kit Slime Sensory Bin is an ocean themed kit for endless hours of creative, captivating play. This is a great sized kit for little hands. It is full of fun ocean-colored slime and both a total beach scene with sand and palm trees plus ocean animals, pearls, and other treasure-like mix-ins for the slime. There are even glow in the dark pieces to offer different ways to enjoy this set. This will be hours of fun and the kit can be used repeatedly with the number of slime bags and mix-ins included, so it’s quite a durable play kit. This all-in-one kit means that the slime and sand has a place to live where it can remain unsullied and the container serves to keep it off of other surfaces, so it couldn’t be easier to clean. Snap the lid in place to contain it & it’s good to go.I think this kit is a great value and would make an excellent gift for any kid! I would like to see all the various kits this company offers since this is such a fun box. The variety of textures make this an excellent therapeutic tool for kids and adults with sensory needs alike as well!

Fun & great Variety

This sensory slime kit was a fun activity🌊 The water slime was definitely the most fun to useit had the best texture and stretch. I honestly wish the water slime had come as the 2-pack instead of the crystal slime being the 2 pack. The butter slime was a little disappointing because it wasn’t buttery at all and ripped apart almost like breaking string cheese in half rather than stretching. It comes with the storage box which makes it easy to clean up and out away, store for next use. Overall, a cute kit with some definite hits and misses.

Klever Kits slime and sand kit

This Klever Kits slime and sand set has a fun concept, but the slime in our kit was disappointing. Most of the slime textures were crumbly and dry, and while you can press them back together, they’re still tough to work with. One slime was extremely slimy, so the textures were all over the place. The little foam dots are fun to try folding in, but since the slime wasn’t very sticky, they didn’t blend the way they normally do in other kits. The sand is about a third of a cup and has that kinetic sand feel. It looks like real sand but holds together well and molds easily like actual Kinetic sand. I do wish there was more of it so you could build a bigger beach area. The accessories are simple but enough to make little ocean scenes. I especially like the colorful square blocks, they look like pretend ice cubes and will probably end up in our kitchen play bin later, but my daughter can use them wherever she wants. The clear container is nice, though the hard sticky tag on the inside bottom is annoying to remove. The lid holds well, which is great for storage. The kit itself is fun, and I like that this company usually adds unique touches, like multiple slime colors and sand. Our slime just came in rough shape, so it wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been.

Slime isn't very slimy.

This slime wasn’t very slimy. It was kind of stiff. The directions say to mix the sand with the butter slime which is impossible because no amount of kneading would make the two things mix together. I do like that it comes with a variety of shapes and textures. I also like that its super portable. I brought it with when i had to bring my son to the office with me and it helped pass the time while I was getting some work done. For reference my son just turned 8 and has autism.

My daughters are definitely into sensory toys right now. They love these.

My 9 and 7 year olds are definitely no exception when it comes to the slime and sensory toy craze! They absolutely love this ocean-themed kit because they already love anything involving the ocean, and of course, anything squishy is an instant hit with them. They had a lot of fun making and playing with the slime, exploring the different textures, and using the sea animal pieces to create their own little ocean scenes. The glow in the dark stones were a fun extra that kept them interested even after the initial setup. It’s a great hands on activity that kept both of them entertained and gave them something creative to play with together. Definitely a hit with my girls!

Really fun!

This was a super fun sensory box! There are lots of different textures and little ocean-themed pieces to play with, and it kept my kid entertained for quite a while. I especially like that everything comes in a container that we can close back up when we’re done. It makes storage easy, and we can take it with us without having to transfer everything to another container. My only complaint is the little foam balls. They get EVERYWHERE and stick to absolutely everything! Definitely something I’d recommend using over a table or an area that’s easy to clean. Other than that, this is a really cute sensory set with lots to explore and play with.

Oceans of fun

This sensory set is amazing and totally surpassed my expectations! All the slime is already prepared and individually bagged and there is so many pieces and sensory items. There are so many ways to play and will keep the kids busy.

Fun for one time use

I love the idea and got amazed by how many "water slimes" are included in this package. What a fun way to build such a delicate ocean world with so many details. Yet this is one time play one time use sensory bin as after you mixed the water together, you can't undo it. My kid wants to play with it again but how come? The butter sand is hard as a piece of rubber and can't mix it with regular sands as instructed in the manual. What a disappointment! I don't see a lot of value for money from this purchase.

Wonderful Sensory Kit

I picked up this slime sensory bin for my son. The slime is soft and non-sticky. it doesn't cling to little hands, which makes cleanup so much easier. My kids love mixing in the glitter, foam beads, and sand to create their own textures. The ocean theme is adorable, with shells, starfish, and sea creatures to arrange and play with. The glow-in-the-dark stones are a magical touch. I also appreciate that the storage case doubles as the play bin, so everything packs away neatly when playtime is over. For the price, this is an excellent value. I'd highly recommend it! Five stars!

So Many Fun Sensory Things to Explore

There are so many cute things to explore and play with in this sensory bin. The little sea animals and ocean themed pieces really add to the cuteness and make the whole set inviting. The water slime was particularly fun, and honestly, I wish they included more of it because that was one of our favorite parts. I also love the sand and the combination of different textures to touch and explore. The size is nice because there is enough included to give kids plenty of playability without the set becoming overwhelming. I especially appreciate that everything can be kept together in one container. Sensory toys can easily turn into a bunch of little pieces scattered everywhere, so having one place for playing and storing everything afterward is really convenient. There is also a lot of imaginative play packed into one set. Kids can touch and explore the different materials, arrange the animals, create their own ocean scenes, and play with everything in different ways each time. That gives it more playability than a toy that really only does one thing. My daughter is 11 and loved touching and exploring everything, which is why I wish they would not put such a limited upper age range on it. Even though it is marketed for ages 3 to 8, older kids who enjoy sensory play can definitely have fun with it too.Considering the variety of sensory materials, cute accessories, reusable container, and different ways kids can play with it, I think it offers good value for the money. I just wish there was a little more of that water slime!

Fun Ocean Activity for Kids

I used this ocean sensory bin as a hands-on activity for a child who enjoys slime, sand, and sea animals. The bin gives kids a place to stretch the slime, scoop the sand, and make their own small ocean scene. The glow-in-the-dark stones are a fun extra when the lights are low. These are my pros and cons:Pros: The kit includes different textures and pieces, so kids can play in more than one way. They can mix the slime, hide the sea animals, make small ocean scenes, and use the sand for creative play. The storage bin helps keep the pieces together after playtime, which makes cleanup easier. It is a nice activity for children ages 3 to 8 who like ocean-themed toys.Cons: Small pieces can get lost if the bin is not closed and stored properly. The glow stones need to be exposed to light before they glow well in the dark. Adult supervision is still important with younger children, especially because the kit includes small accessories. Overall, it is a fun gift for kids who enjoy sensory and imaginative play.

Safety concerns

I really wanted to love this sensory bin for my 3yo but upon opening it I was very disappointed and concerned. I do not recommend for younger kids. It gives the impression that it’s severely toxic. There are no ingredients listed, just warnings about it not being edible and avoiding contact with eyes and mouth. That’s impossible with my 3yo so unfortunately she won’t be exploring this sensory bin. I’m glad I checked it out while she wasn’t around because she has been obsessed with slime and squishy stuff lately and it would have upset her that she couldn’t play with it. There are tons of tiny pieces from shells to beads which also pose a safety concern. It does come with multiple packs of slime and sand, but they aren’t great quality and again there are major concerns about toxicity.
